Dr. Sean Calalang completed her undergraduate degree with a B.S. in Animal Science from UC Davis, followed by a degree in Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Oregon State University. She practices full time in Contra Costa County and provides care for dogs and cats, though she also found enjoyment working with large animals when in clinical rotations at vet school. Dr. Calalang has great interest in preventative care and hopes to one day fulfill a goal of hers to provide relief veterinary care for the stray dog and cat population in the Philippines, where she was born. Dr. Calalang is a member of the Contra Costa Veterinary Medical Association, the CVMA and the AVMA. She shares a home with Nala (pitbull mix), Kola (chow chow), Bentley (maltipoo), and also has a cat named TJ. In her free time, Dr. Calalang likes to paint, spend time with family, and has a growing interest in outdoor activities such as camping
